Moin, die Frage steht ja schon oben, was ist der einfachste Umbau eines Barkas auf Dieselmaschine? Der authentischste Umbau wäre ja natürlich auf Multicar M25 Motor, aber man müsste das Barkas Getriebe verwenden, das ja recht eigenartig ist.

A Barkas B1000 a keletnémet Barkas járműgyár legnépszerűbb és legismertebb típusa volt. A B1000-es először a lipcsei vásáron mutatkozott be 1962-ben, és egészen 1989-ig gyártották kétütemű Wartburg -motorral. A B1000-es utódja a B1000/1-es jelzést kapta, és ezeket a típusokat már négyütemű motorral szerelték egészen.

Barkas was the East German manufacturer of small delivery vans and minibuses named the B 1000. In addition to delivery vans, Barkas also made engines for Trabant cars. It was made in several different body styles: as a panel van, minibus seating eight, and pickup truck. Special-purpose vehicles based on the Barkas B 1000 were made as well.

Im Angebot enthalten ist ein 1,4l-VW-Motor mit 48 PS (Kennbuchstabe 1W) nebst dazugehörigem Getriebe und Kühler (siehe Bilder), verbaut war dieser ursprünglich in einem Seat Inca. Der Motor lief bis zum Schluss tadellos und hat eine Laufleistung von ca. 70´000km.
